Frequently Asked Questions

I work with a limited number of insurance companies and also offer private-pay options. My private-pay rate is $200 per session. I can also provide a superbill for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their out-of-network insurance benefits.
All psychological evaluations, including bariatric and fertility evaluations, are offered on a private-pay basis. If we decide to move forward with an evaluation, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs in accordance with the No Surprises Act.
-
A superbill is an itemized receipt of services that you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement for out-of-network outpatient therapy sessions. Reimbursement depends on your individual insurance plan and benefits and is not guaranteed.

Therapy is a unique and personal experience that can be a powerful tool for understanding yourself and making meaningful changes. At Women’s Wellness Therapy (WWT), I am proud to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and normalize women seeking support through all stages of life.
From our first intake session, I will work with you to identify your core values, emotional needs, and personal goals. Together, we will create an approach to therapy that feels supportive, meaningful, and tailored to you.
-
I personalize each client’s care plan based on their unique needs and goals. I see clients weekly, biweekly, or monthly, depending on what feels most appropriate.
Together, we will determine a schedule that supports your emotional well-being, promotes stability, and helps you continue working toward your goals.
-
I understand that unexpected situations arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule an
appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments that are not
related to an emergency or urgent circumstance are subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length and are currently offered virtually through a HIPAA-compliant platform.
Virtual care provides the flexibility and convenience to fit therapy and psychological evaluations into the busy demands of your life, while maintaining a private and supportive environment.
-
It’s the Vegas rule here! What we discuss in therapy stays between us, with certain exceptions required by law or professional ethics, including situations involving serious safety concerns.
Before our first appointment, you will receive information about confidentiality and its limitations to review and sign. If we need to communicate or coordinate care with another provider, we will discuss completing a release of information when appropriate.
