We'll begin with a brief introductory call to discuss the purpose of the evaluation, review your bariatric program's requirements, answer questions about pricing and timelines, and determine whether our services are the right fit for your needs.

20 - 40 minutes

Before your evaluation, you'll complete electronic intake forms, clinical history paperwork, and psychological screening questionnaires. These assessments help us better understand your experiences, emotional well-being, and individual needs.

Our assessment process is aligned with guidance from the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).

90 minutes

During a private virtual appointment, we'll explore your psychological and medical history, eating behaviors, understanding of surgery, readiness for lifestyle changes, coping strategies, support systems, and long-term health goals.

This conversation is designed to be thorough, collaborative, and supportive.

30 minutes

In our final meeting, we will discuss your initial evaluation, assessment results and review reporting finding and surgery recommendations. With your authorization, the report is securely submitted to your bariatric team, typically within 2–3 business days after all required information is received.

The goal of our evaluation and time together is to determine whether currently you are an appropriate candidate for surgery and display appropriate insight, understanding and the tools to be successful with optimal long term weight loss success.
